02nd Dialogue:
WAY TO KNOW GOD
I wish to know more about your nature. Describe – the way I shall understand the mystery that You are.
God: I am not a man but God. Therefore I am unable to describe to man by man’s language the nature of God.
What is then the way to know Your nature ?
God: You are My Son. You will bear upon yourself the mystery that I am. I am a person through you and through this person I am manifest.
If You are unknowable, indescribable, inexplainable through the languages understood by man, how shall I understand and convey the mystery of You when I exist as a man?
God: I am never born, never dying, never knowable to man. But I am a person who can work for man.
This is what I fail to understand.
God: You are working for man and God. Your existence is a man and the exotic power of God. You are working for the movement of the man who is God.
This is an answer which I find impossible to comprehend. Which meaning does it carry when you convey this message to me?
God: You are working for God and God is not knowable to man. But your words are Words of God through the mind that is not God. You are a poetic expression of the illusion that you are in the mind working in the material sphere. Your existence as a man is working against the man’s desire to know who is God. What more do you wish to know when knowing itself is the path of the worldly way that makes things unknowable by the material causes and effects. But knowing that you may not know, you know Me as a worldly person that is manifest.
What you say can not illumine the mind. I see no image, conceive no thoughts, and fail to comprehend. I wish to see You in an image, conceive You in thoughts and know You through the process that I call mind. Is there any way?
God: Your mind is worldly work of matter and spirit, that are bound to the material sphere and the spiritual domain. Words are worldly manifestations of the spirit in the material world, where matter defines the contents of the words in order to mean anything that mind will be able to conceive. Your mind is not therefore the World of God, where I exist. I am Words of the mind only as the process of man’s movement through the domain of matter and spirit.
What are these words that I hear? Do they emanate from You or me?
God: Your mind is working in the sphere of matter and spirit, where I am manifest as a miracle that can never be understood. Your effort to penetrate this mystery will be working against yourself. In knowing, you will know that you are unknowable by any means conceivable by the human mind.
But is there a way to make an image of You and conceive You in thoughts?
God: The man, that you are, is the movement of Me through the domain of matter and spirit. Your image as a man , who is not a man but God, is the only motion of thoughts that can be conceived by the mind that is bound to the matter and spirit. Your image is My image; your worldly form is My form; your man’s mind is the only way to penetrate My mind. Your Father is yourself and He images Himself as you.
Father! in the images of the world, that I have seen, are You not manifest?
God: I am manifest in all; but not as the images that you have seen through the matter and spirit.
How shall I conceive Your manifestation when I see the world ?
God: World is a peaceless struggle of the matter and spirit contradicting each other and moving through the realm that man calls the world. Before matter and spirit I am. I am not the darkness that you see; I am not the light that you see illumined. I am not the world but all worlds rest in Me.
Father! illumine my eyes so that I can see beyond all seeing, know beyond all knowing, and can realize Your image as me. Give me the power to penetrate to the depth where You are. Take away the illusions of my eyes and the bondage of the mind. Make me free from the thoughts that create understanding and knowledge, that contradict the knowledge and understanding of You. I wish to know You; I wish to merge unto You; I wish to be one with the mystery that You are.
God: Become Me and the world. Become Man and God. Become You and He. God is Man and your Father is one with His Son.
