06th Dialogue
THE WAY TO CHOOSE AND ACT
I have seen the human beings suffering in lust, desires, disease and death and engaged in the struggle to gain power and wealth in order to be able to compete with others with a hope to secure the basis of their livings. Everyday they have been waging battles to achieve the means of survival, that one needs. In this battle some have employed others to fight against the odds of life, and enjoyed for themselves the luxury of living full of freedom to exploit, and fulfil greed, lust and hunger for power. Everybody have been engaged in the toil of the living and thus remained captivated in chains. Amidst this I have seen love, joy and illusion of happiness. This love is meant to fulfil the reproductive needs; the joy has been a measure of success to achieve the desired goal; and happiness has been a self-identification with the spirit that is free. In living amidst this life I have felt imprisoned by the same forces of life: I have made choices to act in order to achieve the things and circumstances I need to fulfil the physical process of life. In this arena, where hunger and reproductive needs and the security against the dangers of life are the motive forces driving the life, there exists modes of dependence on other human beings. Those who can accumulate power is able exploit the rest to fulfil the needs, and those who are powerless submit to the forces and battle of life. In procreation and trying to safeguard the procreation and willing to create the conditions, that may secure their issues against the odds of life, man remain enchained in the drudgeries of toil. Amidst this life there exist affection, kindness, and desire to help and preserve the life, who are close to oneself and dear to one. It is like a web, that entwines man from different directions, like the forces of fate. In willing to preserve the emotional bondage, that exist in the nearness with others, and secure oneself with the love and emotional ties of the closest ones, I have seen man sacrificing the freedom to go on his own way. This has brought the causes of conflicts, that every man, it seems, need to endure. Furthermore, there have existed the ethics, the codes and the practices of the social group, to which one is a part, and the fear of punishment, once one tries to break away the codes and free oneself from the entangling web. While every life seems to be surrounded by these invisible chains, tell me how shall man act, behave and move on the way to freedom so that man may realize his true-nature, and know the path towards God ? How shall I bring forth the messages of your Compassion and Love without being drawn, entangled and suffocated in this web? How shall man remain free from the bondage of life, and at the same time can accomplish the task of bringing forth the message of Your Love in a world, which is a fire pit of hunger, desire and blind paths of kindness, affection and desire? How shall I keep myself detached from life and at the same time remain engaged without experiencing joy, sorrow or regret? How shall I distinguish the acts that are right or wrong? Tell me, about the ethics of actions, that man must follow, and by which one can fulfil the purpose and meaning of your Compassion and Love.
God: Man is a fire-pit of hunger and desire. He makes of himself the meaning that these desire and hunger impose on life. This is the path of matter-spirit that is matter-spirit bound. Only by moving away from this path man may realize the true nature of the Self, and the meaning of life that is more than hunger and desire of life. Man can not free himself or herself from this destiny that is meant to preserve the motions of life, without being acted upon by the motions of the man who is God-Man in life. Only in knowing the path of God-Man man can see his or her life in the mirror of the world, where God is Man, and Man is God in life. Man must follow the messages of God that are enacted through Man-God acting and moving in life. Man may work for man’s movement against this stream of life, but in this way man will work against the Will of the Divine. Bear in mind that your worldly appearance is the movement of Man-God , who is the meaning of life. By knowing your existence, man will know the meaning for which God-Man exists in life, and in living He brings peace of the mind. Know that the meaning of the existence of God-Man is the meaning of life. In what you see as the suffering world engaged in the battle of life you are life’s meaning. Your path of the worldly will and the Divine, making Himself revealed, is the path of the worldly man, who is bound to matter-spirit-life.
How shall man choose to act ? What should be the guiding thoughts that will keep man in the path that is not full of danger and distress? Is there a way which may free man from the web?
God: Man is created to move in the destined path of life and death. Once born, man must remain engaged in the struggle that you describe. However, once man realizes his nature as a part of Man-God, moving through life, man may encounter a peace in the mind. Suffering is caused by the peaceless movement of the desires to win over the destiny of life. Suffering will move as long as man is bound to the will of his own. Knowing that God-Man is the meaning of the world, man should submit his will to the purpose of the whole.
Is there any way to free man from struggle and toil?
God: Your worldly incarnation will bring man the enlightenment while the worldly and the Divine will be visible as one. Your worldly appearance will make man move along the mountain path, where Man-God is walking as the Divine light of love. The struggle and toil of life may never cease because in such struggle and toil exist the forces of life. Life will cease once this struggle will cease and the life will no more seek to renew itself from the movements of work and conflicts. Knowing this as the foundation of life, and making oneself enlightened about Man-God, who is the meaning of life, man may live a life of desires. Desire is a path to preserve life and therefore no life can escape desire. Know that your existence is also bound to the desire, your exotic matter-spirit-bound body is also troubled by the tensions and conflicts of life. But your life is not matter-spirit-life. Your worldly manifestation is a peaceful world’s tranquil light, that is making itself manifest in the world of matter-spirit moving in innumerable forms, which create contradictions and struggle and conflicts with the parts.
In this battle of life, at every situation, there seems to exist a plethora of choices how to act, and what to choose. How shall man choose? What will be the right choice and what is wrong?
God: God is not an ethical Man-God, who is right or wrong. He is the way of the will that makes life to be sustained amidst the tensions and conflicts of the struggles that disrupt, and give rise to chaos and bring the world into an order again. The man must choose in the way that keeps his or her mind mountain-bound. In acting he or she must gaze at Man-God, who is moving in the mountain path, where He is one with the whole, and remains undisturbed. Teach man about the meaning of God-Man , who is one and the whole, but still can remain individually separate from the rest. Knowing Him and the will of Man-God, your worldly appearance will be the source of actions that will determine the meaning of right and wrong. Know your will as the Will of God. Know Him as you and remain tranquil.
In chaos and order, danger and disruption, or joy and triumph, how can man remain tranquil and know the path beyond the path of worldly right or wrong?
God: God-Man is the meaning of life, and knowing the path of God-Man man must sacrifice his or her life without craving for the meaning that he or she may call right or wrong. God-Man is working in the mind of all. Knowing Him and the way He sacrifices Himself for man, man can keep the anarchy into control, and move towards the whole where God is Man.
Shall man step on the fire, sink in the water, or float uncontrolled on the tumultuous waves while fire and flood will come in the life’s way, or shall man seek a shelter or a vessel that will secure him against the fire and carry him across the tumultuous waves?
God: Man is a matter-spirit bound motion of a power that is manifest in form. Every man must undergo the tumults of the waves that change and move as the life proceeds. The waves, that you talk about, are the waves of the desires and attended by the will to move as a peaceless spirit that appears to be alone. Fire you mention is the fire of the matter-spirit, burning as the fire in motion that is attended by the will of man. God is beyond such fire and waves, and does not exist in a form that is a worldly manifestation of the waves and the fire. Know the waves that are worldly, and work against the forces that create tumults in the heart. Keep your mind gazing along the mountain path where Man-God is life’s meaning and transcendent light of tranquillity and love.
I want to know whether man must fight back the waves, that come to disrupt the home where man feels secure, or man must submit and let himself or herself be washed away?
God: Man is destined to undergo the tumults of the will and matter, that move in unison as a whole. Man can not escape this destiny. However, man can escape the feeling of suffering by receiving the enlightenment. Resisting the disruption may work against the Will of God, and thus against the way that can lead man to the higher path. Oppositely, in submitting to the forces one may end up submitting to the forces of the dark. Therefore man needs to keep in the vision the wandering of Man-God in the mountain path. By this process man will be able to stay in the desired direction.
